Recs for when you're ill
I have a cold, so I'm feeling icky. And since I know that there are several people on my f-list that are ill too, I thought I'd rec a few stories that are perfect for reading when you're ill. In all of them at least one of the main characters is ill, and they're all bound to make you laugh at least once.

Below you'll find three H/D fics, one R/S fics and one fic with Snape (that's not H/S, but you could read it as pre-slash). So there should be something for everyone. :D

Cure for the Flu (R; or here) by ivyblossom
Length: ca 10,500
Main pairing: Harry/Draco
Summary: "Harry, Draco, sickness, and accidental telepathy."
My notes: Draco's flu medicine spills into Harry's ear by accident, which causes Harry to be able to hear what Draco's thinking. I couldn't stop laughing when I read this fic. It's hillarious. :D

Magical Maladies (NC-17; or here) by moonflower_rose
Length: ca 8,000
Main pairing: Harry/Draco
Summary: "Just another spell in the hospital wing."
My notes: Draco gets the Dragon Pox, and guess who's the only person at Hogwarts who's immune to it? This story is cute, fluffy and incredibly funny. :D

Do the Sick No Harm (NC-17; or here) by marksykins
Length: ca 10,000
Main pairing: Harry/Draco (a bit of Remus/Sirius)
Summary: "Harry rejected the hero racket and decided to take over the hospital wing at Hogwarts, but his chosen career also means taking care of the staff. All of the staff, and that includes Professor Draco Malfoy."
My notes: Draco gets the Kappa flu. With an appearance by Caspar the dragon and Madam Potter, hehehe. :D

Harry Potter and the Polka Dot Plague (PG; or here) by marinarusalka
Length: ca 19,000
Main pairing: None :(
Summary: "Harry Potter discovers why polka dots are evil. Snape discovers why it's a bad idea to forge your medical records. Lucius Malfoy discovers why you shouldn't give suprise presents to your boss."
My notes: Harry gets the Skittles, infects Snape with them, and then has to stay in the Hospital Wing together with him. There's angst, drama and humour in this fic. And a fun ending. :D

Abner of Astlegate's Most Splendid Pox (PG-13; or here) by sheafrotherdon
Length: ca 4,500
Main pairing: Remus/Sirius
Summary: "Remus is sick, and Sirius is nursemaid. Imagine..."
My notes: Remus gets the chickenpox. Cute and funny. :D

And I'm actually posting this before 7pm. I really must be ill. :o
