I was incredibly bored today with studying, so I started watching tv, zapping through the channels, and randomly watching tv shows. Anyway, what caught my eye was this show they've been showing on MTv. I've often wondered what it was, but since I never watch MTv for longer than a few seconds, I never got the chance to find out. But today I managed to catch it at the beginning, so I decided to watch it. The show's called Yo Mamma.

I have no idea if any of you watch MTv. I sure don't. MTv lately doesn't even deserve the name MTv anymore. There's hardly any music on it! Every time I put on the channel all that's on it is some kind of reality show about spoilt rich girls or some stupid show with men stapling their balls to their leg, and other idiot things like that. But I thought this show was even more horrible. It's the most awful idea for a show I've ever seen. To explain it quickly, the show is a competition - the one who can make the best insult wins (these are usually Yo mamma insults). You can read "the rules of the game" here.

I thought the show was incredibly offensive. It was sexist and racist. I really don't get it. MTv beeps the word "dope", but to tell really sexist "jokes" and insults is okay? Everybody in the show kept laughing at the insults. Yes, HAHA, sexism and racism are SO funny! Who even watches these shows??! And to make it even worse, the judges in the end discuss the people's "trash talking style". They actually talked about the differences and who had more "presence"! O_O I never knew insulting was an art form! Gah, anyway, the show made me think "the youth these days..." which I guess means I'm getting old. But, really, the youth these days...
