A big THANK YOU to aldebaran1977 for my birthday present. I have hidden it in the back of the fridge, so I hopefully won't find it again until my birthday. And the card will make a great bookmark. It'll make reading boring policy books much more interesting. Err, I'll make sure none of my professors or classmates see it though. :P

Also thanks to everyone else that have already sent me their birthday wishes, even if it is 6 days away. :D

[1] I was finally able to take some time off tonight to read my f-list. I had 4 days of posts to read, so I basically just browsed through it and bookmarked fics to read. Gah, I can't believe how much you guys post! And, of course, there's also been so much fic posted. The last of the hd_holidays, and then also hpvalensmut and hpvamp have started the posting. And I won't have much time to read until the beginning of March. *cries*

I still have so much to do for school. I've decided I won't take the imperialism course because it'll just be too much work... It sounded like such a cool course though. So I'm really sad I won't be able to take it. :( But at least this'll all be over in March when I start with my own research. The pile of books I should read is already up to my knees. But at least they're interesting. :)

I am incredibly happy we're almost done with the course work. They keep making us do group presentations, which I hate. I hate depending on somebody else. Like yesterday. We had a group presentation, and we agreed to meet one hour sooner to do some last-minute discussion. I was preparing my part until 4 am, and then got up at 7, so that I was able to print everything and then be at uni at 9. But I was the only one that came! I waited for 15 minutes until one of them came and said he's still writing something. Which I was okay with since he's like me and has problems with Swedish so he needs a bit more time to prepare. But then the classmate who sent me an sms at 8 telling me that she'd be "a few minutes late" because she had to print hers out at uni, well, she came half an hour late without the print-outs because she hadn't printed anything out yet! (Because she didn't leave her house until after 9, I imagine...) So she left me to go print stuff. And others just didn't show up because they either didn't know, or they had problems blahblahblah. So I was sitting at the uni caffee like an idiot, waiting. Gah! I HATE group presentations!!! Especially because you know they won't really count that much in the final grade.... Ok, I'll stop whining now. :P

[2] I finished watching the new Doctor Who series yesterday. Why did the end have to be so sad? I actually cried (though that was partially PMS). And my boyfriend's eyes were a bit "glassy" too. :( But, at least, the Ninth Doctor is now in Heroes. Excellent! :D I'm now really looking forward to see the next season of Doctor Who. I want to see what Jack has to do with it all. :D

[3] I posted a map a couple of days ago. I can't believe people that live so far away read my journal. I was really surprised to see South America. Who's from there? :D No Africa though. :/

[4] aldebaran1977 posted a link to an article about gay sheep. It's funny that the first thing I thought of when I read the article was: OMG that's like sheep rape! Because they tied them up. I think some of those rams wouldn't exactly allow the other ram to jump on them. :P But, anyway, that reminded me of my dog's half-brother who'd always harass my dog. He'd always try to hump him (and only him), and my dog would be totally freaked out and he'd hide behing my legs with his tail between his legs, while his half-brother would cryyyyy because he couldn't reach him. *snicker* Ahhh, incestuous gay canine love. :D

[5] I'm going to Glasgow in March! I have no idea what there is to do and see there, but I've never been to Scotland so YAY! It's like a birthday present for me. From myself and my boyfriend. :P Yes, I buy myself birthday presents. It's a great excuse to buy yourself something you wouldn't usually buy. :P Anyway, we found out that Ryan Air was giving out free flights, so we're flying there and back for free (except for all the taxes). And we also found a nice cheap hotel, so it'll be quite cheap to go there. :D And I'll be in Scotland! Where Scottish people are! And other Scottish things! I have to, I don't know, practice my Scottish accent! (Which sounds almost the same as my Irish accent, which sounds the same as my pirate acent.) :D

Edit - A groundskeeper Willie quote for all of you (because he's the most famous Scottish person :P): "Brothers and sisters are natural born enemies! Like Englishmen and Scots! Or Welshmen and Scots! Or Japanese and Scots! Or Scots and other Scots! Damned Scots! They ruined Scotland!"

[6] Internet's funny. My boyfriend has a blog, and somebody found his blog by looking for "anal + sex". Because he posted about This Film Is Not Yet Rated a while ago, hehehe. :D

[7] I'm going to make a another post about films tonight. I'd planed on posting it earlier this week, but then school work got in the way... :)
