Hello to all! *waves*
I took part in my first ever friending frenzy, so I thought I'd introduce myself to my new friends. :)

Hullo, I'm sulky_rhino. You can call me sulky, or rhino, or SR, or anything you want. ;) I'm 24, female (if it's not obvious), and I live in Sweden. I'm not from Sweden originally; I moved here about 4 and a half years ago, because my boyfriend (now fiancé) is Swedish. I originally come from Slovenia (not to be confused with Slovakia). That's between Italy, Austria, Hungary and Croatia. :)

My mother tongue is Slovene, although I don't speak it that much nowadays, as I've no family in Sweden. So usually just once a week when I speak to my mum over the phone, and in emails. Most of the time I speak English (at home), or Swedish (whenever I feel brave enough). I have a master's in English Linguistics and a bachelor's in Political Science. Right now I'm taking some smaller courses at uni (media, and gender), and trying to improve my Swedish so that I'll be able to take the master's programme in Political Science in the fall. Besides Slovene, English and Swedish, I can also understand Croatian, and some Norwegian and Danish too. I should be able to speak some German and Italian as well (I learnt them for 4 years), but if you ask me to say anything, I'll be able to tell you things like: "My alarm clock is broken" and "I put poison in your coffee". Which is very useful when you travel.

I got into Harry Potter a couple of years ago when my friend tried to convince me how wonderful the books were. I read the first book in Slovene, and decided I didn't like it. The translation was... not so good (I wanted to bring out the red pen and mark all of the mistranslated stuff). I decided to give the original English versions a try, and they made me much much happier. :D Anyway, umm, my favourite book is the Prisoner of Azkaban. I don't really like the films because Dumbledore looks a bit psycho in them, and because I just can't not laugh every time I see Ron. You'd probably react in the same way if you saw Thunderpants. *sigh* The things I watch when bored... I started reading fanfic about 8 months ago, lurked for 6 months, and then started a journal. In short, I'm rather new around here. :)

Hmm, what else. I mostly post HP stuff on the journal. Sometimes also some real life posts, and some opinion posts. I ship Harry/Draco and Harry/Snape, although I read other pairings too sometimes. I like demented pets, Harry dancing (badly), happy endings (or at least hopeful endings), and humour fics. And pretty pictures.
