Yay, I've finally managed to update all of the lists I have! Finally. So, yesterday and today I've updated:

H/D HBP list (9 new)
Thematic list: Original / Unique Horcruxes (6 new)
Art list: Fanart making fun of canon (5 new)

H/D kilt fics have no new entries. :( Only 4 fics so far. Doesn't anybody like men in kilts? :O

So now I can focus on the Snarry rec list, and maybe update the other Snarry list I have too. It's been months... I kind of miss Snarry. :/

I've been a really good girl. :P I've updated:
H/D HBP fic list (7 new fics)
and
my H/D rec list (a bunch of new fics).

I've also added a few new categories to the H/D rec list. I just added those that I saw people looking for several times already. But the best one is the Holiday one. I've put all Christmasy H/D fics there that I had on my rec list. So now you can get into the Christmasy / wintery / holidayish (is that even a word?) spirit. If you're not already annoyed by Christmas, of course. O_O Anyway, here it is. >:oD (--umm, that was supposed to be me as Rudolph... with the antlers and the nose...)

I think I'll focus on my Snarry rec list now. I'll never get to post it otherwise... :)

[2] Has everybody seen this video? (from lddurham; NWS) :o If you haven't, you should.

[3] There was a fun discussion on harrydraco a couple of days ago. It was about which things in HP confused you and what things you got completely wrong when reading the books. My favourites: Snape = chubby; Sirius = chubby uncle type; Tonks = an older, slightly overweight, somewhat butch woman; the bat bogey hex makes you dance the boogey with bat wings as your ears; and my absolute favourite (I'll quote it): "I totally thought that Dean and Seamus were gay, so when Dean started going out with Ginny I was like 'WTF? what about your boyfriend?'" :D If you don't want to tell what you got wrong, at least go read it. It's a really fun discussion. :D

[4] Another fun link: Exactly Where to Stick It (NC-17) by crucio_4_coffee. Don't anger the ARSE. *giggle*

[5] H/D HBP list has been updated. There are 5 new fics on it. YAY! :D

[1] Every once in a while I read a story and I'm not sure whether I should put it on the HBP H/D list or not. Most of the time it's because there's really no indication which book the author had in mind when writing it. I usually then just look at the date when it was written and decide on the basis of that. But then sometimes there are stories which were written before HBP came out, and then later certain parts of it were rewritten to comply with the new canon (like Allegiance and Sedition by silentauror). I've been rereading some of my favourite stories for the past two weeks, and I noticed that one of them is like that. I'm talking about Momenti Diversi by zarah5. It was started a long time before HBP was published, and only the last chapter was written after HBP came out. And it's this last chapter that makes me wonder if I should add it to the list or not, because Draco not killing Dumbledore is being discussed in it. So, err, what should I do? The whole story is basically HBP-compliant, but it was started over half a year before HBP was published. And the author did try to make it HBP-compliant in the end. Argh! It's a really great story, and more people should read it, but do I put it on there or not? *overcomplicates stuff*

[2] Does anybody else have problems accessing Big Bang I & II site? I've been getting the "Server not found" message for over a week.

[3] I feel like reading some Sirius/Remus fics. I originally got into fandom on Immeritus, so those were the slash fics I read first. And now I feel like reading some again. Does anybody know of any rec lists or anything similar? Like a list of the best / most popular Sirius/Remus fics? :D

[4] I've finally updated the HBP H/D list again. I wanted to do it yesterday, but then LJ was down so I couldn't do it. Anyway, there are now over 200 stories on the List. YAY! *insert fireworks* :D I've also formatted the HBP H/S list so that it fits the new layout. *cuddles it because it looks pretty now* I'll probably add new stories to that one this week. I don't have any schoolwork to do, so I have more time than usual. :)

I've finally posted my H/D rec list. I had it ready to be posted already two months ago, but I kept putting it off because I knew it'd take a while to get all of the posts linked to each other, which is really the most annoying part when posting a rec list. Plus I started rereading the stories I had bookmarked (you know, all those long novels). And then I changed my layout too, so I wanted to change the colours and make it prettier. :P So, anyway, now it's finally posted. Yay for me! :D Although I know that there's a bunch of stories missing from the list (*eyes silentauror's fic list*). I decided to post it without them because that'd just give me an excuse to reread them too, and put off posting the rec list a bit longer. I'm quite easily distracted and lazy that way. :P

I've finally changed my layout. It's not really that much different than before, I guess. The colours are the same (because I like them :P), but the look is a bit different. And I have a pretty banner. :D

I found the template thanks to gossymer. It can be found at interlinea. The cute little usericons and icons you see at the bottom of the post (comments, etc.) were made by FamFamFam. And the banner was made by my boyfriend. :D All other changes to the template were made by myself after hours and hours (and hours...) of playing around with it, until I figured out there's a really good and simple tutorial at s2smoothsailing. :)

I've reorganised the Memories and Tags.

I've also completely revamped the HBP H/D list. I've organised it a bit more, and generally made it a bit nicer to look at and easier to find fics. *pets it* Go look and tell me how pretty it is. :D

And right now I'm trying to make a few icons. I was asking about icons based on fanart a couple of days ago, and in the end I decided to make a couple myself as well. I'll probably post them in a few days. :)

[1] I'm still updating the HBP-compliant H/D list. There's almost 200 fics on it already. Maybe I should try to make it shorter... I don't remember what half the fics on it were about. Hmm, I'll have to think about that...

[2] A couple of weeks ago somebody was asking for a post-HBP Snarry list, and I volunteered, because I tend to hoard fic links. :/ I said it'd be done in a couple of days, but it took me three weeks (because I was lazy, and also because if I do something, I want it to look pretty :P). So, anyway, here it is. There's definitely a bunch of fics missing on it - I haven't had the time to add them. I'll do that next. Soon. Meaning before Christmas. :D
(Btw, I hope I didn't flood anybody's LJ. I backdated the entries, but you never know. Sorry if I did.)

[3] My boyfriend listened to the last two HP books. He wants to know where Draco got the Polyjuice from (in HBP). Did he order it, steal it from Slughorn, or made him himself? I'm leaning towards making it himself... Probably in the same bathroom Harry, Hermione and Ron made it in CoS. Moaning Myrtle seemed to have known him at least. :)

[4] O_O OMG! Everybody in Germany - HIDE!

[5] A certain Mr L sign on somebody's journal reminded me of a jewellry store sign I took a photo of in Slovenia. It had me laughing all day.
