I'm back! :D [Insert excuses for being away - uni, work, exhaustion, etc.]
I think I'll have some more time from now on... Although I still have to finish my MA thesis from last year (why am I so lazy?), write a linguistics paper (I have no clue what about, although I might ask some of you for help - just to ask a few questions :P) and read a bunch of books for lit class (the only thing I'm looking forward to). But, ohwell, I'll do it somehow.
I've really missed you guys though. I bet a lot of fun/interesting stuff has happened while I've been away! Hopefully this means that I'll be able to find a lot of good new fic I haven't read yet. Any suggestions? Any news? :D There's no way I'll be able to check the last 2 months of f-list. :P
On another note, my paid account is about to expire. Should I buy one more year or not? I don't really know what's been happening with LJ and IJ for the last two months, so if any of you could advise me, I'd be really grateful. (I like having a paid account btw. D:)
About my rec lists... I'll try to update them as soon as possible. I can't say how long it'll take me, because I don't know when I'll have time or when I'll feel well enough to do it. I love keeping rec lists, but work has been incredibly exhausting lately, so that I usually don't have energy for anything on the days that I work. Meh.
And since my paid account is about to expire, here's a stupid poll at LJ.
And before I forget... Thanks to everyone for my birthday wishes. Sorry if I didn't respond to your posts. :( I'll try to find my way there in the near future... :)

I still think it's weird that drawings and paintings are considered child pornography. Somebody should report Wikipedia because they're hosting all that child porn I linked to. Oh, and all those museums that have these in their collections. Heh, I guess this means that our tax money is spent on child pornography. Am I annoyed? YES. I'm going to go read Terry Pratchett now. LJ's not making me happy.

My Livejournal is mirrored on three other journals: Greatestjournal, Insanejournal and Journalfen. You're welcome to friend me there too. :) All of my posts from my Livejournal have been posted to those as well, and also will be in the future, so it doesn't matter where you read my posts. However, my LJ is my primary account, so all the old posts still have all of the links and usernames as LJ links and usernames. From now on I'll try to post links instead of "lj user", so that everyone will go to the correct place in the future. :D
Right now I'm slowly fixing the other journals so that they'll resemble my LJ. Today I finished fixing Greatestjournal. I've fixed the layout, tags, memories, and my rec lists. I haven't had the chance to fix the names in the rec lists yet, but I'll probably do that soon. I'm thinking of just turning the LJ usernames into links instead. I've also uploaded all of my pictures to Photobucket as well, so that if I do quit my LJ account, I'll still have the exact copy of it on GJ. Yay! :D
The only thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to find the "tags list" and how to turn the "reply" link in the post into an icon. I'm able to do it with the other links ("memorise", "link", etc.), but not with that one. I think it probably has something to do with the fact that GJ is using an old LJ code. Oh well. :/ If anybody's figured out how to do it, please tell me so I can make my GJ look even prettier. :D
The next journal I'm going to fix is my IJ. :)
Btw, I've noticed that LJ-SEC doesn't seem to be able to "see" several of my LJ posts. They don't even show up on the list. Does anybody know why that happens? Several of my December 2006 and January 2007 posts didn't get uploaded to other journals because of that, and I had to do it manually. :/
Also, is there anybody on my f-list that will from now on post only in the other journals? Please comment here so that I'll know where to find you. Thanks! :D

Gah. I've had a crap day at work (it was hot, people were stupid, and everything was annoying), and now I'm being annoyed by all the other journals I started. It's taking such a long time to fix everything so it looks nice. It'll take me forever. Especially because I like things well-organised. The rec list is going to be a nightmare... I need to fix a lot of the links on it so they won't link to LJs (since a lot of them are being f-locked right now...). And then I need to figure out what to do with the authors' names on other journals, because their names aren't necessarily the same as those on LJ. If I wanted the names to be correct on all journals, I'd have to make 4 different versions of the same rec list. *whine*
But I will fix everything, I promise. It'll just take me some time. So for now if you want to see my recs, my livejournal is probably the best place to use. Also, I'm not yet following my f-lists on other journals, because it seems to me like most of the people are still on LJ and reading the same posts 4 times (when people crosspost) will get annoying. However, if I do know that you're only posting on other journals, I will check them every once in a while. :)

I have hidden it in the back of the fridge, so I hopefully won't find it again until my birthday. And the card will make a great bookmark. It'll make reading boring policy books much more interesting. Err, I'll make sure none of my professors or classmates see it though. :P
