Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to read my f-list that often for the next few weeks. I have a course right now that was designed to be an 8-week course, but we'll have it for 4 weeks, so there'll be a lot of work. And I'm also thinking of taking another small course outside my department, "Modern Imperialism", which sounds really interesting... Anyway, I'll check in sometimes, just not as often. February's going to be busy. :(

[1] As per request, I have deleted the pimping post for the Snarry O-word we're not allowed to mention anymore. It is now called snarry_games. :D

[2] For the first time ever I am now able to see animated icons. Thank you mordyn4 for telling me what I should do to fix the problem of not seeing images properly (which also fixed the animations)! :D Thanks to you I have now been starring at iulia_linnea's humping crumple-horned snorkack for the last 10 minutes. LOL! :D

[3] All of you fic writers should go here and pick a chapter of Harry Potter and the Dubious Hackery. I know it's going to be hillarious! :D

[4] Reading your posts is giving me weird dreams. I read annafugazzi's post last night, where she mentions that she doesn't like songfics, and what do I dream about? I dreamt about writing a really long post about songfics, how they're kind of boring, and how somebody should do something different for a change and write a H/D song fic about elevator music or carousel music. Bizarre. And I think David Bowie and peas were in there too... In the morning I woke up with my fingers hurting. It must've been all the typing I did in my sleep. :P

[5] I'm working on updating all of the lists. Looks like a lot of work... O_O The updates will be ready by the end of the week, I think.

I thought I was seeing things when I noticed this add on the metro today. ( Here's a photo of it: )

Sorry it's so blurry, but the metro shakes, so I couldn't keep the camera steady. Anyway, that's the add: Clone-a-willy kit. Right next to an add for a radio controlled aeroplane and some other technical stuff. O_O

So when I came home I went to the magazine's website to see if that add was real or not, and I found the Clone-a-willy kit there! :D Their description is the funniest thing ever!

"... The clone opens countless possibilities: You can give bodily pleasure to everyone who desires you, without you having to copulate like a breeding bull. Maybe your partner doesn't have the endurance you wish for? When the real thing has done its work, the clone can take over. And if you're extremely well-endowed, or possibly an aging alpha male and successful author/journalist/show host with an interest in hunting, you can now make dozens of clones and sell them for a lot of money on eBay! If you haven't overestimated your own desirability and perfection, you could be as rich as a troll!" (my own quick translation from Swedish)

LOL! The funniest thing is that they're making fun of this really successful Swedish author, Jan Guillou. That part about an aging alpha-male who's an author/journalist/show host who likes to hunt is a description that fits him perfectly! And the part about him thinking he's perfect too! This made my day! :D That man can be so... annoying! Gah. He can say really smart things, but then the next moment he's back to being this really obnoxious macho "hunter". So, HAHA to Jan Guillou too! :D

PS: Everybody's talking about Dick in a Box. Well, I figure, the Clone-a-willy kit is the next best thing! And it vibrates too! :P
