I'm back! :D [Insert excuses for being away - uni, work, exhaustion, etc.]
I think I'll have some more time from now on... Although I still have to finish my MA thesis from last year (why am I so lazy?), write a linguistics paper (I have no clue what about, although I might ask some of you for help - just to ask a few questions :P) and read a bunch of books for lit class (the only thing I'm looking forward to). But, ohwell, I'll do it somehow.
I've really missed you guys though. I bet a lot of fun/interesting stuff has happened while I've been away! Hopefully this means that I'll be able to find a lot of good new fic I haven't read yet. Any suggestions? Any news? :D There's no way I'll be able to check the last 2 months of f-list. :P
On another note, my paid account is about to expire. Should I buy one more year or not? I don't really know what's been happening with LJ and IJ for the last two months, so if any of you could advise me, I'd be really grateful. (I like having a paid account btw. D:)
About my rec lists... I'll try to update them as soon as possible. I can't say how long it'll take me, because I don't know when I'll have time or when I'll feel well enough to do it. I love keeping rec lists, but work has been incredibly exhausting lately, so that I usually don't have energy for anything on the days that I work. Meh.
And since my paid account is about to expire, here's a stupid poll at LJ.
And before I forget... Thanks to everyone for my birthday wishes. Sorry if I didn't respond to your posts. :( I'll try to find my way there in the near future... :)
PS - I'll be responding to all of your past comments soon.

There was an apology.
There were also cat macros. ( Kittycest O_O )
fandom_counts is still growing. Over 25 000 so far.
And in about three hours I'm going to see my former professors performing "A Midsummer Night's Dream". It will be hillarious (or so we've been promised). :D

I'm a bit bored. Does anybody feel like chatting? We could make it a group chat! :D
I'm on Yahoo!Messenger and AIM (and a bunch of other programmes, but I don't think many use them).
Edit - It looks like AIM's not working right now. So, I can be found on Yahoo!Messenger only. :)

Or, as we'd say in Slovenia: "potem pa svizec zavije cokolado..." :D Here it is in French:
The video.
A big THANK YOU to aldebaran1977 for my birthday present. I have hidden it in the back of the fridge, so I hopefully won't find it again until my birthday. And the card will make a great bookmark. It'll make reading boring policy books much more interesting. Err, I'll make sure none of my professors or classmates see it though. :P
Also thanks to everyone else that have already sent me their birthday wishes, even if it is 6 days away. :D
Oh, and thank you everyone for including me in the love meme. *loves you all back* :D
( Cut to make the post shorter in your f-list. )

First the map thingy everyone's doing...
 Create your own visitor map!
I've put it in my profile too... I hope it'll work there. :D

Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to read my f-list that often for the next few weeks. I have a course right now that was designed to be an 8-week course, but we'll have it for 4 weeks, so there'll be a lot of work. And I'm also thinking of taking another small course outside my department, "Modern Imperialism", which sounds really interesting... Anyway, I'll check in sometimes, just not as often. February's going to be busy. :(

Is anybody on my f-list going to Sectus or thinking about going to Sectus?

I finally have some time off now. I handed in my home-exam today. I think it's probably they worst thing I've ever written, but I'm hoping I'll pass anyway. I just feel sorry for the professor who'll have to read it - I didn't even know what I was trying to get at when I reread it. :P Ohwell. :D
So now I'm reading holiday fics. :D And playing around on Google. I love the fact that when I look for "Draco Malfoy" on Google Image Search this one pops up on one of the first pages: ( O_O )
And now back to reading... :D

[1] I win! :D I posted every day of the month! Okay, except for the 4th, but that was LJ's fault. I think I did pretty well. I didn't post that many boring posts, did I? And I actually managed to post a few HP ones. :D
[2] Unfortunately I'll be quite busy for the next 10 days. I have a presentation on Monday, and then I have to hand in a home-exam on Friday (I still have 2 books left to read for it), and I have to hand in a topic for the Masters project by the 12th. And I have to write a bunch of emails to professors, uni, and work. I really hate writing those types of emails. :/ So I don't know how much I'll be able to post. I'd like to be able to post at least twice a week from now on though. :)
[3] This might seem like a weird request, but it'll really make me happy if one of you will be able to help me. I'm looking for an article from a journal (it's for uni). I wasn't able to find it in our university library. They only have the journal from 1998 onwards (both in the library and online access), but the article I'm looking for is from 1996. I asked if they could ask another library to send me a copy, but none of the libraries in Sweden have it. I could ask them to email other libraries in Scandinavia, and then the rest of Europe if it can't be found there, but that could take months, and it would cost as much as the whole issue of the journal would. :/ So I'm just wondering if any of you with internet access to the journal's database could send me a digital copy (or scan) of the article.
The article: Hansen, L. (1996) 'Slovenian Identity: State Building on the Balkan Border', Alternatives 21, 4: 473-95. (The journal: Alternatives, issue 21(4))
[4] If you're written a wish list, could you leave me a link to it in a comment? Thanks. :D
[5] All the fests are starting, yay! :D
