For the past few days I've walked past a poster at the university every morning. I giggled every single time. So I went to look for it on the internet tonight. It's for a Swedish play with the title "Den Gud älskar" ("The one God loves"). I've no idea what it is about, or if it's any good, but the poster is funny (to me at least). Here it is:

Am I the only one who thinks of Snupin Mpreg when I see this poster? The woman with black hair looks like Snape in drag, hahaha. :D

I was bored in the airport while waiting for my flight, so I wrote another poll. This one was inspired by the questions some of you posted in the previous poll, Good Omens (and specifically the reference to a famous musical) and apple strudel.

As requested, this poll has more peen. )

Previous polls are:
Poll #1: A Silly Weasley Poll
Poll #2: A Silly Weasley Poll - The Missing Questions
Poll #3: A Sexy H/D Poll - How can it not be sexy when it's Harry/Draco?

Specific fandom stuff:
[1] [info]hallowed_goals is now opened. You can join the community, make a post saying what fandom project you will finish before Deathly Hallows and then regularly post updates about it. If you don't have any fandom projects, watch it anyway as you'll be able to follow the progress of (I expect) quite a few interesting fics. :D (Argh, again I've read it as hallowed_goats.)

[2] [info]fiona_fawkes wants you to write your wish list and then post it in the comments. It's kind of like a Christmas wish list, except that it's in March. :D

[3] Look at what my boyfriend found! It's hilarious! People are awesome. :D

Random fandom babbling:
[4] You know what I like about the newer Daniel Radcliffe photos? The fact that he no longer looks like a wax doll! Fine, so he looks tired and a bit very skanky on some of them, but at least he doesn't look like one of those fake robot people from AI anymore. :P Seriously, who was his stylist? What was with the hair, and the shiny waxy face???? It was creepy. O_O

[5] Tom Felton is cool. I've already told [info]mordyn4 this tonight. :P He's cool because he likes fishing, and when he grows up he wants to study Fishery Management. He's like a fishing geek with all of those pictures of him and fish around. He could be an actor and have lots of fangirls, but instead he wants to fish. <3 :D

[6] Does anybody else have anything fun to show / tell me? :D

I watched a new Swedish tv show today. It's called Welcome to Sweden and it's about Verne Troyer (Mini Me in Austin Powers and Griphook in HP and the CoS) and Richard Kiel (Jaws in James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing) coming to Sweden and experiencing typical Swedish things. It was quite amusing. Some of the things were kind of stupid, but I think that was mostly because their guides annoy me. :P Anyway, I thought some of you might be interested in the highlights of the show, as they're typical Swedish things:

First May celebrations: It's basically politicians having lots of speeches and people demonstrating and speaking about issues important to them. What they did in this segment was that they had a bunch of middle-aged people waving the flag of Social Democratic Youth, which was hillarious. And then they gave Verne and Richard posters and a bull horn so they could say what they wanted to say. "Big things come in small packages!" and "Free Willy!!" is what they came up with. :D

Pre-parties (Swe. förfest): Alcohol is so expensive in Sweden that Swedes usually have a "pre-party" before they go out. That means that they buy lots of alcohol in Systembolaget (the only shop allowed to sell alcohol), so that they can drink (and get drunk) before they go out. And then once they are out they either drink less and spend less money, or they're already so drunk that they don't care about how much they spend. :P This segment was a bunch of middle-aged women drinking wine, vodka, beer, etc. and singing dansband songs. And flirting with Verne and Richard. :D

The food: They promised them a hotdog from a Swedish fast food stand, but what they made them eat was something which looked like a banana split, except that it was made of: a hotdog sausage, mashed potatoes with ketchup, and shrimp salad. EWW. I think Sweden is the only place where I've seen people eating mashed potatoes with ketchup! Blergh. Verne and Richard thought it was icky too. :)

So, that was the show today. I hope it'll be a bit better next week. They're going to visit Santa next time! :D

A long long time ago I posted two Silly Weasley Polls (#1 & #2). And then somebody said I should post a poll about Harry and Draco and I said I'd do it. So, since I have so much to do for uni right now, I thought I'd instead spend some time making up another silly poll. And here it is. About four months later. :P

Think of it as a late gift for International Women's Day. )

Some time around Christmas I started playing with Photoshop and started making all types of silly pictures and icons (like that Seaquill icon that I made). Anyway, I made a bunch of Stephen Colbert meets HP icons but I never uploaded them for some reason. I must've been too busy or embarrassed by them (because they're silly).

My inspiration for these icons was [info]silentauror and her, umm, admiration for Stephen Colbert, as well as that Stephen Colbert and HP crossover fic, Harry Potter and the Eagle of Truthiness, written by Christine Morgan, which you should read if you haven't yet. :D For those of you who don't know what these icons are about, in The Colbert Report Stephen often shows a picture of himself and his new black friend (or at least he used to). So I made a bunch of icons of Stephen with his new HP friends. :P Here they are. :D )

I've seen a lot of people do this, so I thought I'd do the same.

My 2007 Fandom & Personal Resolutions: )

Okay, so now that I've bored you with that, here's what I found today when I was browsing various galleries again. I was a bit bored and I knew that you can always find hillarious pictures and screecaps there (I ♥ the internets). Anyway, look at what I found!

Moody pic )

Lockhart and his portait )

Umm, doesn't he remind you of somebody? )

Anyways, that's all for today. I'm off to do more gallery browsing (it's fun! :P). And then I'm going to go spread some love and try to find more friends (you can never have too many). You should all do the same too. :D (The Love-Meme of 2007 & HP Friending Meme)

Also, everybody go look at the [info]serpentinelion Secrets and Wishes Fest, read all of the wonderful requests, and make a request of your own. You know you want somebody to write a cracktastic H/D version of the film Body Parts! :P

PS: Is it time to take the Santa Rhino down yet?

First a meme. Gacked from [info]damned_queen. My New Year's resolution:

In the year 2007 I resolve to:
Cause more road rage.

Well, I guess that means I need to learn how to drive a car first. Or can I do it on a bicycle? Or as a pedestrian maybe? >:D

~*~*~*~

I thought I was seeing things when I noticed this add on the metro today. Here's a photo of it: )

Sorry it's so blurry, but the metro shakes, so I couldn't keep the camera steady. Anyway, that's the add: Clone-a-willy kit. Right next to an add for a radio controlled aeroplane and some other technical stuff. O_O

So when I came home I went to the magazine's website to see if that add was real or not, and I found the Clone-a-willy kit there! :D Their description is the funniest thing ever!

"... The clone opens countless possibilities: You can give bodily pleasure to everyone who desires you, without you having to copulate like a breeding bull. Maybe your partner doesn't have the endurance you wish for? When the real thing has done its work, the clone can take over. And if you're extremely well-endowed, or possibly an aging alpha male and successful author/journalist/show host with an interest in hunting, you can now make dozens of clones and sell them for a lot of money on eBay! If you haven't overestimated your own desirability and perfection, you could be as rich as a troll!" (my own quick translation from Swedish)

LOL! The funniest thing is that they're making fun of this really successful Swedish author, Jan Guillou. That part about an aging alpha-male who's an author/journalist/show host who likes to hunt is a description that fits him perfectly! And the part about him thinking he's perfect too! This made my day! :D That man can be so... annoying! Gah. He can say really smart things, but then the next moment he's back to being this really obnoxious macho "hunter". So, HAHA to Jan Guillou too! :D

PS: Everybody's talking about Dick in a Box. Well, I figure, the Clone-a-willy kit is the next best thing! And it vibrates too! :P

Subject: Exams are fun! (No, really.)

My boyfriend had an English vocabulary exam earlier this week, and I took a peek at it today. OMG one of the questions in the exam:

(Pick the right explanation for the word / phrase underlined blahblahblah...)
All it takes is some TLC.
a. concentration
b. gentle attention
c. lubricating oil

B is obviously the right answer. But... C??? ROTFL!!!! TLC could be a euphemism for lubricating oil in certain circumstances. *snicker* I'd laugh out loud if this had been in my exam... I have a really pervy mind. :D

I remember when I had my first English vocabulary exam at Stockholm Uni. I'd been in Sweden for less than a year then, so for me the exam was more like a Swedish vocabulary exam than an English vocabulary exam. They had questions there where you had to pick the right Swedish translation of a word, so while I understood most of the English words (or could guess their meaning from the sentence), I had to often just pick the Swedish word randomly. So a lot of times I just tried to guess some of the meanings from the (little) German I knew, or tried to "feel" the right answer.

Anyway, the horrifying moment came when we had to translate a Swedish word into English, and I wasn't completely sure about the Swedish word. I think the sentence went something like this: "Some say that ______ (onani) should be taught in schools." The word onani is Swedish for masturbation. The problem was that I wasn't sure then that it was correct. Masturbation isn't exactly one of the words you learn first when you learn a language. I felt horrible when I handed in the exam. I kept worrying what the person correcting the exam would think if onani didn't mean masturbation, and some weirdo (me) wrote that word there. I mean, most people taking the course were Swedes, or grew up in Sweden, so it'd really look creepy if masturbation wasn't the right answer. O_O

So, what embarrassing things did you (or almost did) write in an exam? :P

If you were Voldemort (and weren't completely insane, and was capable of thinking somewhat logically and was, in general, able to make plans that at least children wouldn't be able to thwart, etc.) what would you make a Horcrux out of?

If I were Voldemort, I'd make a Horcrux out of this - the Apollo 11 commemorative plaque.

Mwahahahaha!!!! It'd be perfect! Nobody would suspect it, it'd be incredibly well hidden, difficult to access, and did I mention that it'd be far FAR away from people? Plus it'd be incredibly symbolic... Making a Horcrux out of something that's a symbol of the progress of humanity (Mugglemanity???), and then have Muggles put it on the moon! Try to destroy that one Harry Potter!!!! >:D (<-- my evil face)

*waits for somebody to take the idea and write H/D moon!sex*
